Full product description

MMA/Arc welding electrode with a high nickel content, designed for welding & reinforcing cast iron, modular cast iron & cast iron steel assemblies e.g. crank cases, cylinder heads, engine blocks, cast iron repairs etc. It has excellent mechanical properties, is highly resistant to cracking and perfectly suited to work on old cast iron.

These are great for repair and fabrication 
 
Ideal for automotive, restoration, casting repair, marine, and chemical work.
The finished weld can be extremely strong and full penetration is easy to achieve, the resulting weld is easily machinable and can be very attractive.
These rods are designed to be used with a -VE (negative) electrode holder when used with DC or they can be used with an AC output.
These will work with any good quality DC inverter welder with an open circuit voltage of around 60V or higher or any standard AC welder.
Excellent quality welding is achievable the technique requires practice but fantastic results are achievable.
